1. TREE PULL-UPS

2. INCLINE COOLER PUSH-UPS

Find a cooler, if you don’t have one at your campsite, then why are you at a music festival? Get in push-up position, and place your feet on top of the cooler. Do push-ups until you cannot lift yourself off the ground anymore. This movement will exhaust your upper-chest muscles, triceps, and forearms, altogether.

3. SHUFFLE DANCE

If you are in love with House or Trance music, then I’ll put money down that you know how to shuffle. Everybody is shuffling nowadays. However, you don’t see many overweight people moving their feet like this. Because it is such a good workout. And very fun, if you know how to do it (if you don’t, it is not very fun, trust me). So just shuffle your ass off to the music, and before you know it, you’ll be shedding off the pounds.

 

4. HEADBANG

One of the best workouts I have gotten at a music festival is a hard-core Sunday line-up of heavy hitting dubstep DJ’s. 5 hours of head banging will allow you to burn thousands of calories, while also strengthening your neck and back muscles. Yes, you might be very sore for the next 2 weeks, but it will be so worth it.

5. FIST PUMP

Now I’m not from Jersey Shore, but if a DJ lays down that hardstyle track, you better believe I am pumping my fist til the well runs dry. Fist pumping burns hundreds of calories per hour, and you won’t even know you are putting in that much work. Let the music take control and before you know it, you’ll be fist pumping like the Situation on a Tuesday night.

 

6. WALK TIL YOU CAN’T NO MO

Grab some roadies, put on some good shoes, and start walking. Go and explore as much of the festival grounds as possible, especially if it is a new festival you have never been before. You do not want to miss out on any experiences while you’re there! And plus, you’ll be burning tons of calories while you’re at it.

7. YOGA

This is for all you Yogi-heads out there. Spiritual mfers. Yoga is a very good workout, allows you to channel your inner-chakra, and prepares you for the long days of raging that are ahead. Not only does it burn calories and improve your flexibility, but Yoga has been proven to lighten your mood and relieve mental and physical stress. Go give it a try.

8. BUY AN EXTRA LARGE HYDRATION PACK AND WEAR IT THE ENTIRE FESTIVAL

Yes, this sounds a bit goofy but is actually quite efficient. The largest hydration pack can weigh up to 10 pounds. This extra 10 pounds of weight you will have to carry around will push your body to burn twice the amount of calories as a lighter, hydration pack. You will also have water for days! Kill 2 wooks with one stone!

9. TAKE YOUR DRUGS AT 11 A.M.

If you take your mind altering drugs at around 11 a.m., they will begin to kick in fully at around 12 noon. Now I am not a weather man but 12 noon is the hottest part of the day, meaning that you will be sweating your ass off for 6 hours. Combine this with a 10 pound bag of water on your back, you have yourself a deadly combo for burning calories, and also super fun.
